Committed to doing better

At Calculated Genius, our work to change the face of engineering through gender and racial equity is ongoing. Our focus is to ensure that those underrepresented in engineering - minorities and girls - have exposure to engineering opportunities and careers. 

We will continue to use our educational support and mentorship to drive equity in Chicagoland for all. This summer we will be awarding scholarships to women pursuing college degrees in STEM, and our Summer Scholars program will continue virtually. 

In the coming weeks, we will continue to think through what we can be doing to further support our students, and to use our organization as a platform to extend a hand to students interested in furthering their education and exploration of STEM careers.  

We must do better.
